“Linda Ko.  Woman of many talents, one of which is getting into ridiculous yoga-like-picture-taking stances.  You will see what I mean if you ever hire her as a photographer for your special event.

I was lucky enough to schedule a session with her for graduation pictures in order to capture the memories I’ve had at UCLA with my roommates.  Turns out, we also made new memories during the process.  Linda was full of ideas and hit us with some goods right off the bat.  Of course, I liked the traditional jumping picture and hat throwing one, but with our smiles who wouldn’t?  Cocky:  Yes.  Disappointed: Hell no.  Linda was able to take advantage of any location we chose.  My favorite picture had us standing on a set of stairs, and it only showed our ties.

We also took pictures inside a classroom that all five of us had taken classes in.  The last place I would have thought of going after graduation was back to a classroom, but it turned out to be pretty fun.  I would have thought a lecture hall with a table of elements on the wall would produce such nice pictures, but Linda made it happen.  I have only gotten to see a sneak peak at the touched up photos, but they all look great.  I am a happy customer and can give her work nothing less than two thumbs up.”

Linda was great to work with. Personally, I really don’t know the first thing about taking pictures, and Linda really came with a lot of ideas. She seemed to already have locations and styles planned before the shoot so there wasn’t any time wasted discussing or pondering what we should do. We were taking pictures constantly, which was really fun. Aside from the typical portrait photos, Linda also had really creative ideas that I liked. She had several non-traditional angles that worked very well. My favorite photo was one of the more artistic ones. Linda had no problem handling all of the pictures and the equipment, we went from place to place without very much lag time. Before the photo shoot, I had some specific locations that I wanted to hit during the photo shoot, but I really didn’t know anything about the angles or lighting, but Linda helped me with that. I just told her where and what I wanted in the background, and Linda worked with it and took great photos. I liked the fact that I wasn’t limited to how many locations I wanted to try. Having been at UCLA for 4 years, I’ve made great memories everywhere and I really wanted to capture every spot on campus and I think we did.

LINDA KO is the best photographer I’ve ever worked with in my life. How many photographers have I met in my life? Doesn’t matter, she’s the best, hands down =) . My best friends (and secondly, roommates) had the pleasure of having our graduation pictures taken by her around UCLA campus, and it was amazing. She was so easy to work with, everything felt so effortless and smooth. I never felt nervous or uncomfortable, much the opposite in fact. She had so many great ideas and also let us put our own spin and direction on it too.

The pictures came out awesome, way better than I could’ve ever imagined. I didn’t know what to expect, but whatever my expectations were, they got blown out of the water. They look so good! My favorite part about looking at the pictures is remembering the experience and fun we all had taking them together. Graduation is always a big milestone, and the way I’ll always remember graduation is through these pictures. I though after I walked across that stage and received my empty diploma folder (apparently our degree gets mailed to us 6 months later?) I thought that would be the end of my UCLA memories. But it wasn’t over, we woke up the next day to take pictures with this wonderful photographer and friend, and Linda captured and created more UCLA memories with us.

I had a blast taking pictures with my buddies in front of Linda. I can’t emphasize how fun it was, and how effortless. I usually hate the fake smiling and posing, makes me feel like a plastic mannequin. But there was nothing Fake about the smiles that day. I can proudly say I don’t know diddly squat about photography, but everything I didn’t know, Linda did. She is experienced with techniques and everything that I have no idea about =) . I highly recommend her to anybody that wants their memories captured. Two thumbs up!

I was very impressed with the graduation photos I received.  The prints were amazing, but more importantly, her experience in photography was excellent.  When she took the photos, she knew exactly how to direct us, where to pose, the correct angles, shades, and places to stand.  She was experienced in her technique, and this translated to the prints.  Graduation was, and will be, one of the most important experiences of my life, and Linda’s photos are the best way to save the memories.  Even after the photo shoot, I was impressed with Linda.  She was easy to communicate with and quick to respond.  I recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a great photographer and even greater looking photos!”

“Linda is an amazing photographer who truly knows what she is doing. My friends and I hired her to photograph our college graduation, and I couldn’t be happier about how the pictures turned out.  She is extremely professional, very nice, and makes sure that you feel comfortable at all times.  Next time I have an event, she will be the first photographer I call.  She’s awesome!”
